Procurement Manager - (f/m/d) in Berlin

Your mission

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Procurement Manager to join MakerVerse reporting to our COO, with the potential to grow into a leadership role within our procurement team. Main tasks:

Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation.
Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers in the manufacturing industry.
Oversee supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and compliance with company standards.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements within the procurement function.
Support strategic sourcing initiatives and drive procurement best practices across the team.

Your profile

At least 5 years of experience in procurement management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Proven expertise in supplier relationship management and contract negotiation.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to identify cost reduction and efficiency opportunities.
This role does not include managerial responsibilities within the first 6-9 months. However, strong leadership potential is required, with the capability to eventually lead and mentor a procurement team.
Experience in managing procurement within an on-demand or custom manufacturing setting.
You are fluent in English and have strong communication skills.
You are based in Berlin and available to work in a hybrid setting (60% office, 40% WFH).
