Technical Buyer / Procurement – China (English & Chinese Speaker) - all genders welcome

Your Mission

As a Technical Buyer (all genders) at MakerVerse, you will play a critical role in expanding and managing our supplier network across China.  
Your core objective is to secure the best possible manufacturing prices while ensuring technical feasibility and supplier quality. You will work directly with manufacturing partners, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate competitive pricing to ensure our platform delivers the best possible value to customers. 
This role combines technical understanding of manufacturing processes with strong commercial negotiating skills and requires close collaboration with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams. 


Your Impact  
  • Negotiate competitive pricing and manufacturing conditions to ensure the best possible cost structure for projects on our platform.  
  •  Identify, evaluate and onboard new manufacturing partners across China to expand the MakerVerse supplier network.
  •  Conduct supplier audits to assess manufacturing capabilities, equipment, and quality standards.
  •  Evaluate suppliers’ machines, production technologies, and technical capabilities.  
  •  Review technical drawings and specifications to assess manufacturability and technical feasibility. 

Your DNA

  • Experience in technical purchasing, sourcing, or supplier management, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  •  Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production technologies.  
  •  Experience conducting supplier audits or supplier evaluations.  
  •  Ability to review technical drawings and assess manufacturing feasibility.  
  •  Fluency in Chinese and English is required.  
  •  Strong negotiation skills and a commercially driven mindset with a clear focus on cost optimization.
